How long will my case take if it proceeds through the courts?
- November 20, 2017
This varies greatly. It depends on a number of factors including the complexity of the case, the number of parties involved, the venue, and whether there are any appeals taken in the case. A “standard” case, without any appeals, can be resolved through litigation in approximately two years. A more complex case, or one in which appeals are taken, can take much longer.
