I’m Tom Davis. I’m an attorney at Stenger, Roberts, Davis & Diamond, LLP. I practice personal injury law.

Brain injury can happen even if your head does not come in direct contact with another object. A lot of times in automobile accidents, even though people walk out of an automobile accident not feeling as if they’ve struck their head on something, they can suffer a brain injury under those circumstances.

A concussion is not something like the flu that goes away in a few weeks and you don’t have to worry about it. Concussions can be a very serious matter. They can have an effect on the rest of your life. It’s important that you have an attorney in the case early, to make sure that whatever is happening in your life medically is documented, presented in such a way that it can be presented later to a judge or jury or insurance company, to get you the appropriate settlement.

We don’t get paid unless we get you a recovery. Sometimes insurance companies will offer people settlements. The insurance company is not out to make sure you’re adequately compensated. An attorney’s role is to get you as much as we can that fairly compensates you for what you’ve been through.
