SDG Law Hires 15th Attorney to focus on Personal Injury

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–Wappingers Falls, New York. SDG Law has announced the hiring of its’ fifteenth attorney, Alexandria D. Weininger. Alex will practice Personal Injury, Family Law, and General Litigation for the firm.
“We are thrilled to add Alex to our growing team. In addition to practicing law in New York, she is also licensed in New Jersey which will expand our reach and client-base,” says Thomas R. Davis, Managing Partner at Stenger, Roberts, Davis & Diamond (SDG Law). “She brings some incredible skills to the firm both from her legal background and as a journalist.”
While in law school, Alex was recognized for her work with Seton Hall Law’s Juvenile Justice Clinic, defending juveniles involved in criminal matters in the Superior Court of New Jersey. After law school, Alex clerked for the Honorable James A. Farber, J.S.C., Chancery Division – Family Part, Superior Court of New Jersey, Sussex County from 2013 through 2014. While serving as a law clerk, Alex handled family matters including divorce, domestic violence, child custody, and post-divorce issues. Alex also serves as a volunteer attorney for the Jersey Battered Woman’s Legal Advocacy Project.
Prior to law school, Alex was a television news producer at CNN in New York, where she covered major national and international news events, including the shooting at Virginia Tech, the Minneapolis bridge collapse and the 2008 Presidential election campaign. Prior to CNN, Alex was a writer/producer at WJLA-TV ABC 7 News in Washington, D.C. “The transition from journalist to attorney has been an incredible journey. It has helped me to better serve my clients and given me the ability to identify and analyze all sides of a client’s legal issue. I am looking forward to my new role at SRDD law and being able to utilize the skills I acquired from the journalism and legal professions to represent individuals and their families in the Hudson Valley region,” says Alexandria D. Weininger.
Alex earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and received her law degree from Seton Hall University in New Jersey in 2013. Prior to SDG Law, Alex practiced in New Jersey with in a small firm, focusing on general litigation which included both civil and criminal matters.
